Well, it is that time of the season again for all of us allergy suffers. With people mowing the lawn, to pollen circulating everywhere, it is not too surprising to see someone sneezing or blowing their nose wherever you go. I also suffer from allergies and I used to have to wear a face mask whenever I mowed the lawn, take numerous amounts of allergy medication, which only made me drowsy and tired, up until just recently. In this article I am going to explain a little bit of what causes allergies and then things you can do naturally to combat this never-ending “annoying” problem we suffer every year.
Our immune system is very complex. Within our immune system there are certain cell markers called antibodies and the main one to focus on, concerning allergies, is immunoglobulin E (IgE) which is one of five major antibodies including IgG, IgA, IgM, and IgD. These are all considered a glycoprotien but IgE behaves differently than the others. An allergic reaction follows a certain pattern consisting of the following; allergens enter our body either from food, inhalation, or skin contact. When it enters the body it is detected by B cells which produce antibodies. “Most antibodies will bind to the right substance and “neutralize” it. But IgE attaches one of it’s “legs” to a mast cell and the other leg holds on to the allergen. This action signals the mast cells to begin disintegrating, thereby releasing histamine. Histamine is a chemical substance that causes many of the complaints which arise during allergic reactions.
People with allergies are different than people without allergies! People with allergies produce IgE in response to such harmless things as house dust or pollen. The non-allergic person produces IgG or IgM antibodies against these substances.
One solution is to avoid the allergen, but many times the allergens are linked to the essentials of life. At other times there are too many allergens to avoid. Many people have found that when taking glyconutrients, allergies diminish and in some cases are completely eradicated. There is substantial evidence that some glyconutrients can reduce the amount of IgE in the blood thereby diminishing symptoms caused by over production of IgE. Other glyconutrients can help fight the overproduction of histamine.
For all people, not just those with allergies, glyconutrients form the basic cellular language of all cells. Cells require adequate amounts of glyconutrients to allow cells to communicate ‘correctly’. These nutrients are known to improve the immune system function, organ function and improve basic body physiology. If cells cannot communicate correctly they cannot function correctly or stay healthy. Glyconutrients for cell communication are pivotal no matter what other supplements you decide to take.
I don’t know about you but I am sick and tired of the on going suffering from allergies and have tried almost everything. Glyconutrients worked for me and I am now almost allergy free.
