A SALUTE TO OUR MILITARY

~Remember Those Who Serve~

Pfc. Leah M. Fulton, Capri Drive, Waynedale is a member of the 3rd Division Armored Calvary Regiment and is currently taking part in Iraqi Freedom. She is the daughter of Edwin D. Fulton.

This young woman enlisted in the Army immediately after graduating with Honors from Wayne High School. Leah was a cheerleader for 4 years at Wayne High School and attended 3 years of ROTC. She entered boot camp on February 2002. Her basic training was in Fort Jackson, S.C. where she was with Company D, 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment. Leah completed her basic combat training on April 18, 2002.

Leah was sent to Fort Lee, Virginia for her A.I.T. (Advanced Individual Training). After graduation from A.I.T. she was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. On March 21, 2003 she was deployed to Kuwait to take part in Iraqi Freedom.

Although the challenges Leah has undergone since reporting for training were great, those which lie ahead are even greater. She is a Mortuary Affairs Specialist.

Leah’s family and friends are very proud of her, and are “anxious for her safe return home, along with all the other troops”. Please keep her and the rest of our troops in your prayers.

Support in the Waynedale News area for the troops and their families remain strong. Remember these service men and women in your prayers.
