ST. THERESE PARISHIONERS GATHERED FOR THE DEDICATION OF THE NEW $3.6 MILLION WORSHIP SPACE
Less than 13 months after ground was broken for their new church, St. Therese parishioners gathered for the dedication of the new $3.6 million worship space. The view from the back of the new church is breathtaking as natural sunlight streams through the stained glass window, illuminating the altar and congregation with many hues of refracted light.
The stained glass ‘Rose Window’ was created in Lynchburg, Virginia by Artist Rich Buswell and depicts the legend of St. Therese. St. Therese said that her work in heaven would be to send blessings to earth like showers of roses. The window is formed like a stylized rose with a representation of St. Therese in the center, with deep blue heavens and angels bearing roses. St. Therese Parish is inviting the public to stop by during their open house on May 18th from 1-3 and share in the celebration of their new church.
