PAUL C. AUMAN, 86
PAUL C. AUMAN, 86, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Lutheran Home. Born March 14, 1918, in Bridgeport, Conn., he was the son of the late Arthur F. and Georgia (Rosselot) Auman. He retired in 1982 as a tool and die maker with L. H. Carbide, after 41 years of service. He was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church, A.S.T.M.E. and the Southside Optimist Club.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia (Hugenell) Auman of Fort Wayne; sons, David Auman of Fort Wayne and Richard Auman of Tucson, AZ; a daughter, Carol Auman-Bemis of Bloomington; a sister, Lucille Wilson of Glendale, CA; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandson.
Service was Monday, May 17th at the Lutheran Home Chapel; Chaplain Roger Olson officiated. Visitation was Sunday, May 16th at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery.
Preferred memorials to Emmaus Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice Home.
