DAMON JOHN SPRINGER, 23
DAMON JOHN SPRINGER, 23, of Yoder, died in a single vehicle accident Saturday, May 15, 2004, at State Route 104, Wayne Township, Ohio. Born Aug. 26, 1980, in Fort Wayne, he was a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker for Midwest Tool & Die, Fort Wayne and a farmer. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, where he was a Deacon and on the church council. He loved farming and show trucks. “Damon was full of life and was a great son and brother who loved to work and help people.”
Surviving are his parents, Ronald J. and Jackie K. Springer of Yoder; sister, Angie D. and fiancé, Tom Rodak II of Indianapolis; brother, Kyle B. (Staci) Springer of Georgetown, KY; and step-grandmother, Zelda Garrison of Terre Haute.
Service was Wednesday, May 19th at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 16933 Theile Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was also Tuesday, May 18th at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home, 120 W. Mill St., Ossian. Burial at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
