VILLAGE BOWL TOURNAMENT WINNERS
Jessie Bezek (right), of Garr Creek Road in New Haven won the men’s division of the First Annual League Appreciation Tournament at Village Bowl. Jessie rolled a 668, which was 89 pins over his Friday Night Men’s League average.
Beverly Martin (left) won the women’s division of the tournament. She rolled a 524, which was 92 pins over her Monday Night Busy Women’s League average.
The tournament was held on Sunday, April 23 at 12:30pm. A $10 entry fee gave you a free lunch, drinks, and for Jessie and Beverly, a $200 first place prize.
The tournament was limited to the first 130 regular season league bowlers to show up. Jeff Dreyfus, Village Bowl manager, set up the spring tournament in appreciation of all the league bowlers that have participated throughout the cold months of winter.
