ROBERT V. TRAVIS, 70
ROBERT V. TRAVIS, 70, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, in Wells County. Born October 31, 1934, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Lewis and Forest (Dinger) Travis. He was employed by International Harvester Company for 30 years and I.T.T. for 9 and a half years. He was a member of American Legion 296 and C-40 Flying Club.
Survived by wife, Carolyn K. Travis of Fort Wayne; sons, Todd (Mary) Travis of New Haven, Wade (Andrea) Travis of Huntertown and Clint (Amy) Travis of Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, Valerie (Tom) Leppek of Fort Wayne and Michelle (Greg) Carnes of St. Joe; brother, Willard (Rose Mary) Travis of Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Beverly Pabst of Fort Wayne; and eight grandchildren, Garen, Geremy and Gannon Carnes, Nicole, Brendon, Hannah and Hayden Travis and Kaylene Leppek.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, July 25, at St. Joe Hessen Cassel Catholic Church. Calling was Sunday, July 24, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with Rosary Sunday. Burial at Catholic Cemetery.
