NORMAN R. EHRESMANN, 77
NORMAN R. EHRESMANN, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, July 11, 2005, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born November 27, 1927, in Wagner. South Dakota, he was the son of the late Gustav and Pauline (Rehureck) Ehresmann. He was a Foreman for Blount AGR Industrial, retiring in 1988. He served in the Navy.
He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne and American Legion Post 296.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy L. (Lunz) Ehresmann of Fort Wayne; sons, Perry (Karen) Ehresman of Fort Wayne and Rodney (May) Ehresman of Indianapolis; daughters, Sheila (Ed) Mertens of Wolcottville and Christina (Michael) Gibson of Fort Wayne; stepson, Dale (Elaine) Roesener of Las Vegas, Nevada; stepdaughter, Barbara (Daniel) Harber of Columbia City; brothers, Lester Ehresmann of Yankton, South Dakota, Raymond Ehresmann of Fort Wayne and Noel Ehresmann of Texas; sister, Violet Peters of Modesto, California; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Friday, July 15, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Jefferson St., Fort Wayne, with the Rev. Arnold Piering officiating. Military graveside service at Lindenwood Cemetery.
