A HEALTHY DAY
I have been writing articles for The Waynedale News for some time now and I noticed I have not given a verbal tour of the practice. We opened on March 15, 2004 and are located at 4656 W. Jefferson Blvd., Suite 240, in the Professional Park West Office Community Park. Professional Park West is located across the street from Neuhouser Lawn and Garden Center and behind Best Buy.
When you come into the reception area you will notice a fine aroma of candles and the complimentary teas with purified water to go with it. As you sit and relax you will also notice the soothing music. Patients are usually waiting no more than 15 minutes before they are welcomed in to get treated. If you have children then they will enjoy the children’s books, magazines, and toys to play with while they wait.
Each treatment session usually lasts about a half an hour and consists of some kind of modality like heat or cold, a 5-15 minute soft tissue massage, stretching, joint manipulation, and rehabilitation or exercises to follow. Most patients find it hard to stay awake while they are getting the hot/cold treatment and the massage, which is just fine. Relaxation and tranquility is our goal here at Nill Family Chiropractic.
Along with a relaxing experience, we also make you feel warm and welcome with a little laughter. You know studies have shown that laughter alone can boost your immune system. In the back there is a second treatment room along with all of the rehabilitation equipment. Our massage therapist, Crystal, is here to help out with everything along with giving half hour massages for $30 and 1 hour massages for $55.
