RICKY W. SCHAEFER, 53

RICKY W. SCHAEFER, 53, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born October 30, 1952, in Fort Wayne, he was a Carman for Conrail Railroad. He enjoyed collecting coins and was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, Christina M. Schaefer of Fort Wayne; mother, Violet Schaefer of Fort Wayne; son, Andrew Schaefer of Fort Wayne; daughters, Rebecca S. Schaefer of Fort Wayne, Jennifer L. Schaefer of Muncie and Tracy B. Schaefer of Fort Wayne; and sister, Pamela J. Welsh of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Schaefer.

Private service. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Arrangements by Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
