SMOKE ON THE WIND
Dear Readers of Smoke on the Wind,
I’m sorry that I did not have a column in the last issue. I had knee surgery. Yes, it is not to late to send me a getwell card. I would love to receive them. I may not be dancing for some time, but your words of encouragement would sure help in my healing, and once again I can be Dancing Feather. Now I’m called Gimpy Feather, among other names.
I have come to realize that, in order for any of us to have a complete healing, it must come from the mind, body, and spirit.
Here at Peace Tree Ridge, there are many wonderful and beautiful things to look at. Just this morning, while having coffee with my wife Jane, we looked out at the geese and ducks playing on the pond and wetland. The deer, I’m sure, will also be coming soon to help me with my healing, along with the red fox and red tail hawk.
Nature has a most wonderful and complete healing effect for all of us, and I thank God, for I see His spirit in nature, and I feel good and strong, and I say God Bless You for sending your cards and letters.
