GIRL SCOUTS GATHER TO CELEBRATE 100 YEARS
Girls who are members of the Girl Scouts gathered to say “Happy 100th Birthday” to the Girl Scouts on March 12th. Daisies, Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts from grades kindergarten through 4th grade gathered at the St. Elizabeth campus in honor of the Girl Scouts’ 100th birthday.
Founder Juliette Gordon Low began the Girl Scouts on March 12, 1912. Today Girl Scouts earn badges in a large variety of activities, and to support their activities, selling the infamous Girl Scout cookies.
