FOUR GENERATIONS OF FAMILY, ALL BORN IN FEBRUARY
Justine Walter born on Feb. 21st 1924 and her husband Charlie moved to Dunkelberg Road, which was a small country road surrounded by cornfields in 1962. They raised 8 children and lived there until 2004. Both were active members of the American Legion Post 241 where Charlie was a past commander and a member of the Honor Guard. They were also members of St. Therese Church where Justine still belongs. Charlie passed away in 2006. Daughter Ann Michell, born February 12th lived in Avalon Addition with her Family from 1974-2009. Being involved in the Avalon Association and other Waynedale events during those years was a small way to give back to the Waynedale community. Ann’s daughter Tasha, born Feb 1st attended St. Therese School. She swam on the Avalon swim team for 12 years, that won many city championships. She, along with her family, lived in Lakeshores Addition from 1997-2003. Tasha’s son Andrew, born February 23rd also attended St. Therese School. He is a member of the 122nd Air National Guard.
