CITY TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE FOR THE ANIMALS
The public is cordially invited to join Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control in celebrating the holidays with homeless dogs, cats, and an assortment of small animals located at 3020 Hillegas Road on Wednesday, December 14 from 3 – 7 P.M.
Tour the shelter, see the animals in our care, enjoy the children’s craft area, refreshments, and learn about volunteer opportunities. Guests are encouraged to bring donations for the purchase of medical supplies or gifts of canned food for cats and dogs of all ages. Other items of need include peanut butter (creamy/any brand), durable chew toys like Kongs or Nyla Bones, plain clay or scoopable cat litter, pet treats and toys, small bags of timothy hay or alfalfa cubes, and forever postage stamps. NOTE: Dry food and towels are not needed at this time.
With any donation of rawhide treats or canned dog/cat food (pate or ground preferred) we will be giving away FWACC license plate frames while supplies last.
