TRUNK OR TREAT TO BENEFIT WAYNEDALE TRAILS
Kingston Residence will host their 4th Annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 22nd from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at 7515 Winchester Road.
Trunk or treat is a free event with donations being accepted toward the Waynedale Trails and Sidewalks Initiative (WTSI). More than 20 vehicles will be decorated and handing out goodies. Walgreen’s will be taking complimentary photos of children dressed in costume and residents of Kingston Assisted Living will join in the fun by also handing out treats. The vendors that attend pay a sponsorship fee to participate in the event. At least $1,000 is traditionally raised toward the WTSI.
The Waynedale Trails and Sidewalks Initiative has donated over $20,000 toward the design and engineering of both trails and sidewalks slated for Bluffton Road between Lower Huntington and Winchester Roads beginning in 2017. A ramp was installed at the Fairfield/Lower Huntington intersection as part of roadway improvements last year. The ramp intersects with the St. Mary’s Pathway that runs through Foster Park to Tillman Park.
Kingston Residence Assisted Living Community has been serving the community since 1990. It offers engaged and fulfilling retirement living with compassionate nursing support.
