14TH ANNUAL WAYNEDALE COMMUNITY PICNIC

Waynedale Picnic 2015HIP HIP HOORAY!
It’s time to mark your calendars for the 14th Annual Waynedale Community Picnic. This year’s picnic will be held on August 27th from 10am-3pm at the Waynedale Park at the intersection of Koons and Elzy Street just off of Lower Huntington Road. The picnic is a rich tradition in the Waynedale community that is unlike any other. This is a family-friendly event that is made possible by over 100 local businesses and many community volunteers.

The planning committee is looking forward to bringing the community together again for a day of fun, food, live music and much more! This annual event is completely FREE to the Waynedale community and we encourage everyone to come out and take advantage of a day to visit with neighbors, see old friends, relax and enjoy one another’s company.

The 2016 picnic will include all of the usual fun, plus much, much more. Come out and sing and dance along with the live band “Loudmouth Soup,” splash around in the splashpad, or grab a hot dog! There will be games for kids, door prizes for everyone, crafts to create and vendors to visit! And don’t forget, FREE lunch for everyone. (Food is on a first come first served basis).

Calling all volunteers! Last year’s picnic saw over 2000 participants and an event of this size takes a huge amount of volunteers, and community support. If you would like to be a volunteer at this year’s picnic, please contact Josie @ 260- 615-9881.

The Waynedale Community Picnic is proud to be 100% sponsored by local community members, businesses and companies. There are a number of different levels that you or your business can support the picnic. There are many perks designed for our donors but most importantly, this is an impactful way to be a part of a great community event and show your support for Waynedale. If you are interested in being a sponsor, donor, or vendor please visit www.waynedale.com/picnic for more information or contact Megan @ 260-609-2897.
