25TH ANNIVERSARY HOLLY DAYS CRAFT SHOW
For 25 years the Deer Ridge Elementary School Parent Teacher Club (PTC) has been proud to host one of the largest holiday craft shows and sales in Northeast Indiana. This year’s 25th anniversary of the Holly Days Craft Show will be held Saturday, October 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“There will be nearly 200 booths with vendors selling everything from baby items to household organizational crafts to pottery and woodworking and every seasonal gift in between,” says craft show director Kim Martinez. “We are expecting a number of new vendors this year with products not previously seen at our show.”
“Our show has grown over these last 25 years and reached a level of respect that vendors from Michigan, Tennessee, and all over Indiana have stated that ‘this is the show you want to get into’,” says Martinez.
Along with nearly 200 craft booths, the Holly Days Craft Show will have a bake sale, silent auction and on-site food provided by Big Eyed Fish.
The Holly Days Craft Show is a fundraiser for Deer Ridge Elementary Parent Teacher Club (PTC). “This show is the largest fundraiser our school has. With this money, each teacher receives a $300 stipend for their classroom every year, as well as, supporting our Learning Center, Music, Computer, Library and Art centers with requests throughout the year, including support for them to attend workshops outside of class, requests for support from our Principal as needs arise for items such as computers, books, iPads, and computer carts, ect., and the annual $1,000 Gina McClatchey Scholarship to a graduating high school senior who attended Deer Ridge.”
