WILMER CLARENCE GERARDOT, 88
WILMER CLARENCE GERARDOT, 88, of Fort Wayne, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 09, 2014 at Kingston Residence. He was born on February 26, 1926 in Monroeville, Indiana to the late Ralph and Nora (McCoy) Gerardot.
Wilmer served in the Navy on the USS Intrepid during WWII. He worked as an Electrician at Phelps Dodge for 24 years and then worked in maintenance and retired from Superior Powder Coaters. Mr. Gerardot was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, USS Intrepid Association, and WWII Member.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Gerardot; his children, David M. (Jan) Gerardot, Brenda (Jim) Arnett, Cynthia (Glen) Ellenberger, and Thomas (Renee) Gerardot, all of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Gerardot.
A Mass of Christian Burial was 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN with calling 1 hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 and 6-8, Friday, April 11, 2014 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
