50-YEAR AWARD PRESENTED TO ROBERT COOK
Robert Cook, of Kingston Residence, received a special surprise Christmas present. On December 23, he was visited by Alfred Brothers who is the Chair of the Ambassadors Club, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite for the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the United States of America.
Mr. Brothers presented Bob with a letter, plus an official certificate from John McNaughton, Sovereign Grand Commander, and a commemorative pin marking his 50th year as a Mason in the Valley of Fort Wayne.
“The Scottish Rite Fraternity of Masonry is a Service and Charity organization,” explained Alfred Brothers. “Membership in the Scottish Rite provides each of us an opportunity to expand upon our knowledge of Freemasonry, to widen our circle of friends, and to serve humanity in unique ways.”
Bob was very pleased to receive the unexpected award stating, “I have always enjoyed being a part of this organization; it is a great brotherhood.”
