INDIANA STORM
It’s not about Indiana weather…it’s about a 10 U Travel Baseball team called Indiana Storm. The team travels throughout Northern Indiana playing baseball during the summer months. Two local Waynedale area baseball players, Mason Lee and Lukas North, excel on the team. They both attend St. Therese Catholic School and live in Waynedale.
It was an almost perfect season for the Indiana Storm this year, playing teams from New Haven, Warsaw, Columbia City and Indianapolis. They finished their season play in Indianapolis with 46 wins, 3 losses.
Mason’s success is on the mound. He had lost but one game all season and that was to New Haven, 3-2. He threw an unheard of 13 strikeouts in an 18 out game.
Lukas North led his team all season long. Batting an average, finishing with a .566. Lukas stepped up to the plate 133 times and struck out only 5 times.
The Indiana Storm team ended their season in Warsaw at The World Series where they became Champions!
