The Fort Wayne Exchange Express Store would like to welcome any valid Retiree, Active Duty, Guard and the public to their newly established store.

The store is located on the base at the Indiana Air National Guard location, south of Airport Expressway, near the Brookwood Golf course.

It is a small version of a Base Exchange (BX) or Post Exchange (PX) located on military installations around the world. In the past, they have been called a Troop Store, Shoppette or AAFES (Army Air Force Exchange Service). Today, they refer to it as “The Exchange” and this particular store is called “The Exchange Express.”

After years in the making, this store is now open for business on Tuesdays through Fridays from 0600-1730 hrs and every Sunday from 1200 to 1600 hrs and on drill weekends for the 122nd Fighter Wing 0700-1730 hrs.

The Exchange Store sells tactical gear, civilian attire, rank and insignia, food, snacks, alcohol and tobacco.

A valid I.D. is required to get through the front gate. You also need I.D. in order to purchase alcohol or tobacco. No military I.D.? You can still purchase anything else in the store. They strive to provide a varied selection of items with inventory changing weekly.
