SAINTS PORTRAYED BY ST. JOE-ST. ELIZ 4TH GRADERS
St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School 4th graders dressed up as saints for two masses
in honor of All Saints’ Day. The 4th grade students of St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School researched a saint and dressed up as that saint.
Miss Cunningham’s and Mrs. Florea’s students had two occasions to wear their saints’ outfits. On October 30, the 4th graders, along with all the other grades, traveled to the All-Schools Mass at the Memorial Coliseum for a Mass with Bishop Kevin Rhoades. On November 1, they wore their saints’ garb at the All-Saints Day Mass at the St. Elizabeth campus.
Father Larry Kramer, who officiated at the Mass, said that seeing all the 4th grade dressed-up “saints” reminded him that our Catholic faith comes from all different countries and cultures around the world.
