PATRICIA J. KNUTH, 78
PATRICIA J. KNUTH, 78, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital. Born June 28, 1934, in Greenfield, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Kirkpatrick and Jesse Opal (Cannon). She worked in auditing in the Trust Department at Lincoln National Bank and Wells Fargo, retiring after 28 years of service in 1998. She also worked part-time after retiring from the bank at P. Jax Trucking and Overnite Trucking. She was a member of ABWA and the Yahtzee Club.
Surviving are two sons, Rick (Jeanne) Knuth and Brett (Dora) Knuth, both of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Tari (Joe) Haiflich of Rome City and Amy (Jeff) Towns of Angola; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenny Kirkpatrick of Glendale, Arizona, one sister, Barb Parsons of Fort Wayne; one sister-in-law, Pat Kirkpatrick of Fort Wayne; and her beloved cat, Beethoven.
She was also preceded in death by two infant daughters, Karen & Katherine; and former husband, Richard.
Funeral service was 11 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2012, at C.M. Sloan & Sloans Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also was from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
