WANDA MARVINE (GRAVES) HAGEMAN, 87

Wanda Marvine (Graves) Hageman, 87Wanda Marvine (Graves) Hageman, 87, was born October 6, 1924 in Columbia City, Indiana and passed away peacefully at Renaissance Village on February 27, 2012.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Harvey and Mary (Londt) Graves and her brother, Carl.

Wanda graduated from Wolf Lake High School in 1942. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1947. Wanda worked many years at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. She retired from the State of Indiana TB Clinic after 17 years of service. Wanda married Richard (Dick) Hageman on February 15, 1947. He preceded her in passing in 2007. Wanda and Dick raised their family in Waynedale and spent their summers at Adams Lake. They retired and lived in Port Charlotte, Florida from 1994 to 2007. They were lifelong member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son Rick (Cheryl) Hageman of Nashville, Tennessee; daughter, Linda (Tim) Bell of Cumming, Georgia and daughter-in-law Joyce Hageman of Columbia City. Her son Jim passed away in 2010.   Surviving are 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Our heavenly father blessed us with an earthly mother who truly lived a life of humility and compassion. Her generosity of spirit, time and love were given freely and unconditionally, benefiting all those who asked or were in need.

Mass of Christian Burial was on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, IN at 10: 30 A.M. with visitation 1 hour prior to the services. Visitation also on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 2 to 8 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN with a rosary service at 7:30 P M. Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery.
