WILLIAM E. “BILL” LICHTSINN, SR. 73,
WILLIAM E. “BILL” LICHTSINN, SR. 73, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born on March 14, 1937, son of the late William H. and Helen (Dustman) Lichtsinn. Bill was a proud U.S. Marine Corp veteran, having served for nine years. He worked for K-Mart Distribution Center for 29 years and at Nishakawa Standard for five years.
He was a model ship builder and was interested in cars, drag racing, boxing and making his yard immaculate and working on his pond.
Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara “Sue” (Davis) Lichtsinn; his sons, William E. “Bill” Jr. (Chanda) and Mark E. Lichtsinn; his brothers, Albert (Marcia) and Paul Lichtsinn; his stepmother, Roselyn Lichtsinn; his grandchild, Steven William (Nicole) Lichtsinn; and his great-grandchildren, Kerrigan Elaine and Brayden William Lichtsinn.
Funeral service was 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
