DEAR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
As most of you know both of my sons are currently serving in the Middle East and will not be home for the holidays. They and their comrades as well, are going to feel a bit of loneliness this holiday season that I’m sure most of us can’t even imagine.
I am writing this email to ask that you send a Christmas card to the troops in my son’s unit and let them know that we are all thinking of them this holiday season.
I only have an address for one of my boys. Unfortunately my son, Christopher, has been sent out on a mission in Afghanistan and will be at an unknown location during the holidays; therefore, I have no known address on him.
Please, please keep him and his brothers in arms in your prayers.
My other son’s address is:
SPC Hinen, Matthew
Delta Company 2-227th AVN REGT
Unit 5011
APO, AE 09378
You may also just put “FOR THE TROOPS” in place of Matthew’s name that way your card and thoughts can be shared with everyone in his unit.
Thanks to everyone in advance.
To all of you,
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
