Helen “Fran” Benzinger, 58 formerly of Fort Wayne, died Saturday April 11, 2009, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home of Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her partner David Moss of Mt. Juliet, TN, a daughter Brooke (Todd) Ameling of Auburn, a son Preston (Paula) Benzinger of Fort Wayne. Five brothers George Powell, Michael Powell and Stacy (Tiffany) Pease of Fort Wayne, Richard (Jean) Skaggs of Decatur and John (Kelly) Skaggs of Las Vegas, NV. Three sisters Lisa (Fred) Barnoske of Fort Wayne, Kathy (Lynn) Cooper of Indianapolis and Norma (Michael) Butterfield of Yucca Valley, CA. Four grandchildren, Bryce Ameling of Auburn, Mason, Bronson and Cassi Schwartz of Fort Wayne, and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, George Powell and Jack and Jean McCormick, preceded her in death.

No calling or services.
