MINNIE JANE TRAUTMAN, 88
MINNIE JANE TRAUTMAN, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Markle Health Care, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 20, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a very caring and unselfish woman. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was blessed to have compassionate care from the staff at Markle Health Care.
She is survived by daughters, Alice (Phil) DiNovo of Ossian, Jane (Bob) Michell of Fort Wayne, Mary (Dave) Harper of Fort Wayne and Ruth (Rick) Powell of Yoder; grandchildren, Amy (Rob) Hathaway, Angie (Greg) Zelt, Sarah (Earl) Ealey, Adam Michell, Andy and Justin Harper, Raeshelle (Tony) Cousineau, and Robbie and Ryan Powell; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; daughter, Sarah; great-granddaughter, Madison; her parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral service was 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Calling was from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Preferred memorials to Associated Churches Food Bank or Hospice Services of Berne.
