RICHARD J. HAGEMAN, 83
RICHARD J. HAGEMAN, 83, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Adams Lake, Wolcottville and Port Charlotte, Florida, for 14 years, died Sunday, December 23, 2007, at home in Fort Wayne.
Born on February 10, 1924, in Fort Wayne, he was self-employed with ceramic tile for 40 years. He was a lifelong member of Knights of Columbus, and V.F.W. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda M. Hageman of Fort Wayne; children, Richard A. (Cheryl) Hageman of Milton, Tennessee, Linda L. (Tim) Bell of Englewood, Florida and James M. (Joyce) Hageman of Columbia City; brother, Thomas J. (Lois) Hageman of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Wiles.
Service was Saturday, December 29 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling was also Friday, December 29, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, with Rosary at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
