HOPE M. “HOPEY” MILLINGTON

HOPE M. “HOPEY” MILLINGTON, 14, died Friday, January 4, 2008 at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN and was named by her big sister Heather. She was a Grace Point Church of the Nazarene Nursery Worker, involved in Angel Food Ministries, Children’s Clothing Resale and she started Pennies for Pets to raise money for pet food for the SPCA. She liked to crochet, sending scarves to Romania for homeless children. She loved animals, especially horses.

Survivors include her parents, Ken & DeLana Millington of Fort Wayne; sister, Heather M. “Sissy” Millington of Fort Wayne; maternal grandparents, Robert & Sharon Fosnaugh of Fort Wayne, paternal grandparents, Ned & Linda Millington of Huntington; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service was 1:30 pm Tuesday at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 8611 Mayhew Road, with calling one hour prior, the Rev. Charles Sunberg officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9pm Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Allen County.
