RAYMOND W. HENRY, 72

RAYMOND W. HENRY, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Hospice Home. Born January 18, 1935, in Fort Wayne, he was a farmer, retiring in 1992.

He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and Fort Wayne Lutheran Dart Ball Team; former Vice President of Allen County Farm Bureau and was currently serving as membership chairman; President of Pleasant Township Farm Bureau; former 4-H Leader for 14 years; Director of United R.E.M.C. for 12 years; and served as Pleasant Township Trustee from 1968 to 1972 and was presently on the Township Board.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra; daughters, Debra (Mike) Warner of Ossian, Vicki (Rob) Lee and Tamara Bunkowske, both of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Jacob Warner, Jessica, Brittany and Calvin Lee, Kayla and Nicole Bunkowske; sisters, Barbara Klaehn of Fort Wayne, Janice (Lanny) Simerman of Markle and Peggy (Brent) Roth of Roanoke; and brothers, Clifford (Judy) Henry The Villages, Florida and John (Jan) Henry of Fort Wayne.

Funeral service was Friday, May 4, 2007 at Peace Lutheran, 4900 Fairfield Ave. The Rev. Galen Drawbaugh officiating. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Oaklawn Cemetery, Ossian.
