LINDA J. BRIGGS, 55, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, April 2, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born January 1, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a diamond diemaker at Fort Wayne Wire & Die, retiring after 25 years of service. She was a member of AMVET 33.

Surviving are her daughters, April Batchelor and Cheri Asher, both of Fort Wayne; son, Clayton (Mindy) Batchelor of Fort Wayne; brothers, Jerry Wylds, Ron Wylds and Carl Slusher, all of Fort Wayne; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral service was Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne,

Memorials to Riley Children’s Hospital Ronald McDonald House.
