HELEN H. MACKAY, 79

HELEN H. MACKAY, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, April 21, 2006, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born November 27, 1926 in Fort Wayne, she retired from Lincoln National in 1992 as a tax accountant.

Surviving is her son, John M. MacKay of Fort Wayne; daughters, Janet (Michael) MacKay-Galbraith and Kathleen (Gary) Cater, both of Fort Wayne; brother, H. James (Carol) Bower of Clemmons, N.C.; sister, Barbara Bower of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Erin, Matthew, Megan, Amy and John (Jack) Cater, Catherine and Amelia Galbraith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maclyn MacKay, in 1973; son, Maclyn in 1993; and sister, Janet McGavock.

Mass of Christian Burial was 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thersese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Catholic cemetery, Fort Wayne.
