BETTY ANN CARSTEN, 83

BETTY ANN CARSTEN, 83, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at her home. Born June 21, 1922, in Allen County, she was a homemaker and member of Saint Therese Catholic Church.

Surviving are two sons, James (Jackie) Carsten and Joseph (Mary) Carsten, both of Fort Wayne; one daughter, Jacklyn Carsten of Fort Wayne; sisters, Rose Maher and Jean Gump, both of Fort Wayne and Barbara Wood of Columbia City; brother, Richard Maloney of Churubusco; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Carsten on March 27, 2003; sister, Sharon Wood; and brother, William Maloney.

Funeral service was Saturday, April 22, at Saint Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was Friday, April 21, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.

Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials to Masses or Easter Seals of ARC.
