HAIR BARN CLASSICS

Bob and Donna Hey purchased the property at 6510 Bluffton Road in 1959. It was already called Bob’s Barber Shop so they didn’t need to change the name. In 1972 Bob tore the place down and built a brand new, single story, barber shop. He added the barn motif and renamed it Bob’s Hair Barn.

In 1980, when Jeff Hey was just getting out of barber school, they added a second story and expanded again. Bob passed away in 1985 and the three offspring, Jeff Hey, Rhonda Dykeman and Beth Lanning purchased the business from their mother. Hair Barn Classics now employs seven hairstylists.

On Sunday, April 9, Kent Greer Painting Inc. was putting a new coat of paint on the Waynedale landmark. Everywhere you look, Waynedale is getting ready for spring.
