J. KATHARINE McCRAY, 79
J. KATHARINE McCRAY, 79, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Gassaway, West Virginia, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene where she faithfully helped with the Food Bank each Monday. She enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing, quilting, fishing and good clean humor.
She is survived by sons William J. McCray (Marsha) of Fort Wayne and Robert B. McCray (Carol) of Milford, Indiana; daughter Susan C. Jensen (Terry) of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brothers, Frederick F. McCune of Santa Ana, California, Bruce J. McCune of Charleston, West Virginia and Ray McCune of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Audie W. McCray; and brother, Roy Joseph McCune of Nitro, West Virginia.
Service was held at 11 am Saturday, February 18, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home. Rev. Richard P. Shiveley Sr. and Rev. Patrick M. Ryan officiated. Burial was in Lindenwood Cemetery.
