ELVA G. RICE WHEELER, 99

ELVA G. RICE WHEELER, 99, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at Covington Manor, Fort Wayne.

Surviving are her son, Calvin J. “Jack” Wheeler of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; daughter, Lois A. Hess of Fort Wayne; sisters, Nina Pryatel of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Eleanore Harry of South Haven, Michigan and Shirley Davis of Grand Rapids, Michigan; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin J. Wheeler, in 1966; and sister, Janis Bennett.

Memorial service was Saturday, February 25, at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church Street, Fort Wayne.
