DR. SEUSS VISITS ST. THERESE
On March 2, 2006, St. Therese Kindergarten and First Grade celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a special visit from The Cat in the Hat. The day included many parent visitors coming in and reading their favorite Dr. Seuss book to the students. They also feasted on green eggs and ham and made Cat in the Hat hats. Miss Smith and Mrs. Ehinger (Kindergarten and First Grade teachers) had fun dressing up as their favorite storybook characters, Emily Elizabeth and Junie B. Jones. They concluded their celebration by lounging in the gym with their sleeping bags, favorite stuffed animals and Dr. Seuss books.
