LOUIS F. PASTORIK, 60
LOUIS F. PASTORIK, 60, of New Haven, died Sunday, January 22, 2006 after a short battle with lung cancer. He was born on July 4, 1945, in Hungary. “He understood the value of love, friendship and humor. He is loved by many and will truly be missed.” He fled Hungary with his family as a boy, to escape Soviet occupation. He was a man of many talents. He especially enjoyed and mastered the culinary, martial and healing arts. He had a special gift with humor and could make people laugh. He worked as a Master Chef, entrepreneur, Karate instructor, and most recently as manager at Roppel Industries.
Surviving are his children, Donna (Michael), Louis (Katherine) and Stephen (Jennifer); nine grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth (Les) Klug; one niece; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Calling was Sunday, January 29, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Graveside service was Monday, January 30 at Highland Park Cemetery, 2403 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne.
