JOSEPH A. WEACHOCK, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, at his residence. Born October 1, 1925, in Buck Run, Pennsylvania, he was an engineer for Boeing, Magnavox and was retired as an engineer with Graco Spray Pump Company. He was a member of American Legion 241, Disabled American Veterans and Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Survived by wife, Donna J. Weachock; sons, Joseph M. Weachock of Dallas, Texas, Timothy G. Weachock of Jacksonville, Florida, James C. Weachock of Fort Wayne and Steven Weachock of Columbia City; daughter, Sheryl Dirr of Churubusco; brothers, Henry Weachock of Franklin Park, New Jersey and Carl Weachock of Cranford, New Jersey; sisters, Mary Geczi and Genevieve Kelly, both of Clark, New Jersey; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, July 27, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Clinton St., Fort Wayne. Calling was Tuesday, July 26, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Catholic Cemetery, with Military Honors by American Legion 241.
