GERTRUDE M. GARRETSON, 90
GERTRUDE M. GARRETSON, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at her residence. Born October 31, 1914, at Riverhead, St. Marys, Newfoundland, she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting.
Survived by sons, Harry Garretson, Dan Garretson and Dave Garretson, all of Fort Wayne; daughters, Sharon (Loren) Ulrich and Kathy Harmon, both of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Winnie Daly of Scotland; several nieces and nephews; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Garretson; and grandchild, Scott Harmon.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, April 29, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to Mass. Calling was Thursday, April 28, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 6810 Old Trail Road, with vigil service. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens.
