IVY MARIE MOUREY, 15
IVY MARIE MOUREY, 15, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in an auto accident. Born June 26, 1989, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of David James Mourey Sr. and Kelly Marie Beerman. She was a ninth grade student at Heritage High School. She was a member of Zion Friedheim Lutheran Church, Decatur and attended Camp Luther Haven every summer. Surviving are mother, Kelly Marie Stelow of Fort Wayne; father, David Mourey Sr. of Hoagland; brother, David Mourey Jr. at home; sister, Markie Mourey at home; grandparents, David and Dorothy Wright and Margaret Beerman (Bob) Barnes, all of Fort Wayne; two uncles, Scott (Jane) Beerman of Coldwater, Michigan and Richard James Mourey of Florida; three aunts, Roxie Burch of Texas, Cheryl (Kevin) Wagner of Napierville, Illinois and Jeanne (Michael) Slain of Fort Wayne; and several cousins and lots of loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Rex Beerman; and two uncles, Mark and Randy Beerman.
“Ivy will always be remembered for her big smile and bubbly personality. She could fill a room with laughter, and will be missed by her friends and family.”
Funeral service was Monday, March 7, at Zion Friedheim Lutheran Church, Decatur, Pastor Daniel Dahling officiating. Visitation was also Sunday, March 6, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial at Poe-Williamsport Cemetery.
