KELCEY RALEIGH COMPETES IN NATIONALS
Twelve-year-old Kelcey Raleigh will be competing in the National American Miss Pageant on July 17 and 18. The pageant will be held at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. The winner of the pageant will receive $1000, the official crown and banner, and a trip to the National Pageant at Disneyland in California. Each year the pageant awards thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes to recognize and assist in the development of young women nationwide. All activities are age-appropriate and family-oriented.
The pageant program is based on inner beauty as well as poise and presentation, and offers “All-American spirit of fun for family and friends.” Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals. The pageant seeks to recognize the accomplishments of each girl while encouraging her to set goals for the future.
Miss Kelcey Raleigh is the daughter of Tim and Stephanie Raleigh. Her activities include dance and volleyball, and she enjoys music, reading and the telephone.
Her sponsors include Steel Dynamics, her parents, her grandparents, and Todd Smith.
