M. SCOTT PARKISON, 74
M. SCOTT PARKISON, 74, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, May 13, 2004, at Parkview Hospital. Born March 23, 1930, in Fort Wayne, he retired in 1995 from Local 20 as a sheet metal worker, after 31 years, and was currently employed at Signature Products. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, member and trustee of Waynedale United Methodist Church, member of Waynedale Masonic Lodge and the Sheet Metal Workers International Association. “He loved being at Big Long Lake and being with his family.”
Surviving are wife, Sally L. Parkison of Fort Wayne; son, Sam (Debby) Parkison of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sarah (Mike) Baker of Ossian; sisters, Evelyn (Otto) Fultz of Huntington, Marilyn (Bob) Roehm of Big Long Lake; brother, Richard Parkison of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Alexandria and Grant Baker, Abby, Sophie, Philip and Abraham Parkison.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Otis, Paul and Robert Parkison.
Service was Wednesday, May 19th at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church St., Fort Wayne. Visitation was also Tuesday May 18th at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens.
