DENVER E. WEIKEL, 83
DENVER E. WEIKEL, 83, of Yoder, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at his residence. Born July 5, 1920, in Wells County, he was a housemover, owner of D.E. Weikel Construction and Housemoving, retiring in 1963, and also worked for Tuthill Pump, retiring in 1982. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Weikel; son, Terry (Sandy) Weikel of Yoder; daughter, Linda (Marty) Farren of Cleveland, OH; sisters, Zetta Jennings of Fort Wayne, Clellah Taylor of Columbia City, Elanda Lee Perdue of Salt Lake City, Utah, Carolyn Lawson of Clearwater, FL, Bessie McIntosh of Kingman, AZ; brother, Ray Weikel of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughters, DeAnna Weikel and LeDonna Herron, two sisters and two brothers. Service was Friday, April 23rd at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
