DORRIS C. WILLIAMS, 81
DORRIS C. WILLIAMS, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Parkview Hospital. The Indianapolis native was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, sang as a tenor in the church choir and was active in the Ladies Aid Society. She was the secretary to the president of Wayne Knitting Mills and moved to Humbolt, Tenn. with the company, in 1961, returning to Fort Wayne, in 1978.
Surviving is a brother, James W. (Dorothy) Williams of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; sister, Elizabeth L. Williams of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Hildreth Williams of Fort Wayne; and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest E. Williams.
Service was 11 a.m. Friday, March 12th at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., with calling one hour prior to service. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
