CLARA RAPALSKI, 81
CLARA RAPALSKI, 81, of Fort Wayne, formerly of South Bend, died Friday, March 12, 2004, at Covington Manor, Fort Wayne. Born July 9, 1922, in South Bend, she was a seamstress and most recently had worked at the Century Center, South Bend. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, South Bend. “She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed.”
Surviving are son, Lawrence Rapalski of Fort Wayne; daughter, Connie Rapalski of Saguache, Colorado; sister, Rita Bogucki of South Bend; grandchildren, Jennifer Gillespie of Auburn, Jeremy Rapalski of Fort Wayne and Amy Molden of Troy, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Rapalski, in 1996.
Service was 1p.m. Tuesday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 19704 Johnson Road, South Bend, with visitation noon to 1p.m. Tuesday, March 16th, prior to service. Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
