During Family Camp the Camp Staff Alumni Association will provide trained staff for waterfront, games and campfires. Activities include swimming (lifeguard on duty), boating, fishing, hiking, and games. Cost is $25 per family (on your honor) with check-in from 5pm to 8pm on 8/29/03 and checkout from 9am to 5pm on 8/30/03.
FALL ROUNDUPS
If your Pack, Troop, or Crew is interested in bringing in new Scouts, be sure to start planning for fall roundup. Also, Scouts should remember to invite a friend to join your Troop, Pack, or Crew and earn a Recruiter patch. There are two patches, one collectible and another worn on our uniform. A unit’s best recruiters are Scouts who are enthusiastic about Scouting and their troop’s recent adventures. Challenge the Scouts to invite their friends to join in the fun of Scouting.
NOTE FROM TROOP 44
We had a couple days of rain but plenty of good food. We all made it at Camp Chief Little Turtle Summer Camp, thanks to all the staff at camp. We attended the first week from June 15th thru June 21 – Troop 44
