Marine Corps Pfc. Marc P. Asselin, son of Sue and Richard Asselin of Fort Wayne, recently reported for duty with Assault School Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California.

Asselin is a 1999 graduate of Wayne High School here in Waynedale and joined the Marine Corps in December 2002.
