JOHN E. STEIGMEYER, 75

John E. Steigmeyer, 75, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the owner of Steigmeyer Advertising, former Executive Secretary of the Fort Wayne Board of Realtors, and member of Knights of Columbus, I.U. Alumni Club, American Legion Post 47 and St. Jude Catholic Church. He was a Korean War veteran.

Survivors include his wife Betsy A., Fort Wayne; sons Steve, Matt, and Mike; and daughter, Amy Steigmeyer, all of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Paul S. Steigmeyer and Dr. David Steigmeyer both of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Mary Federspiel and Carol Offerie, both of Fort Wayne; and Susan Haffner of Indianapolis.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, April 21, 2003 and a Vigil Service was held at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Bishop Dwenger High School for Zollner Stadium building fund.
